Nikhil Hogan Show

Nov 10, 2018

In today’s episode of the Nikhil Hogan Show, I’m excited to talk to GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter, musician, guitar virtuoso and producer Raul Midón!

Along with releasing 10 studio albums as a solo artist, Raul Midón – dubbed “an eclectic adventurist” by People magazine – has collaborated with musicians such as Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder and Bill Withers, along with contributing to recordings by Queen Latifah, Snoop Dogg and the soundtrack to Spike Lee’s She Hate Me. In 2017, Midon received a GRAMMY Award Nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Album for his album "Bad Ass and Blind".

His latest album is If You Really Want, released on Sept 14, featuring the talents of GRAMMY award-winning Dutch ensemble, Metropole Orkest, under the direction of Multiple GRAMMY winner, Vince Mendoza.

We go in-depth into his amazing musicianship, his songwriting process, great insights into music education, his latest album "If You Really Want", and much more!
