Freeman Patterson is a the epitome of what is sometimes referred to as a "photographer's photographer". His many years as a photographer and a teacher has influenced and inspired generations of photographers all over the world. The insight he brings into the craft of photography is both generous and eye-awakening.

Although Freeman does much of his photographic work at home, he travels widely to photograph and to teach. Since 1973 he has frequently presented half-day and all-day seminars to large groups (50 to 4000 persons) in the visual arts, music, education, and ecology across Canada, the United States, and in other countries. You can discover more about his work and workshops by visiting his website.
