He is currently focused on Threat protection  and data analytics as it relates to advanced Threat Protection threat analytics & threat intelligence.  Edward holds the CISSP designation & numerous other industry  and vendor certifications.

Rod Trent is a Senior Program Manager for Microsoft and a Microsoft Sentinel global SME, ensuring security is top-of-mind for all and easy to implement. He has spoken many times at many conferences over the past 30-some years and has several written books and hundreds of articles. He is a husband, dad, and first-time grandfather. In his spare time (if such a thing does truly exist), you can regularly find him simultaneously watching Six Million Dollar Man TV show episodes and writing KQL queries.

Brodie Cassell

Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity Consultant

Brodie is a passionate security professional based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, who is driven to help protect and defend organizations, communities, and people. He strongly feels that cybersecurity affects us all, and that we need people from diverse backgrounds with diverse experiences to understand, protect, and secure our way of life. Currently, a Security Consultant at Microsoft, Brodie has extensive experience and knowledge in not only Microsoft cloud and on-premises security, compliance, and identity solutions, but also has managed and supported servers, storage, networking, and virtualized infrastructure throughout his career.
