Roy Patterson paid off $51,000 in student loan debt by age 31. He shared his strategies, disciples, and pitfalls. His story was also a part of CNBCs Millennial Money. Roydel Patterson is a Project Manager who currently for a large Health Services company where he manages a project management community of practice where he focuses on providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to his team of 6. Roydel was recently featured in CNBC Make It’s Millennial Money series. He is highlighted for his accomplishments including paying off his student loan debt in just 4 years, as well as his overall success of being financially smart at a young age. Outside of work, Roydel volunteers his time to speak to students about the importance of going into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and the importance of being financial literate. Roydel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Connecticut State University, and Masters of Business Administration from University with a concentration in finance from University of Hartford.
