2022 was a rough ride in the stock market, but for the first time in over 30 years, it was also a rough ride in the bond market. Bonds for the last 30 years have provided good income with relatively low risk to a portfolio, they acted to stabilize balanced portfolios against the potential volatility of the stock market. With rising inflation and interest rates, this brought the turbulent waters into the previous safe harbor that was bonds. So, what does this all mean?
