In this episode, we dive deep into the world of student accommodation. As Chief Executive of a charity which provides some of the lowest priced accommodation in London, in this very honest and down to earth conversation, Allan shares the benefits of working for an organisation with purpose and what it means to work and live in alignment with your values.
KEY TAKEAWAY
“Understanding different cultures is particularly important in the student environment but you do have to adapt because the world is changing. Part of being a manager and leader is adapting to what is around you, but you don’t fundamentally change your values. Your values are there and intrinsic. I’m lucky I have a job that aligns with my values.”
