Many musicians live a varied and eventful life, especially if they tour around the country performing their music. So what does the life of a songwriter look like and what tips have they learned as they travel and perform?
We are incredibly excited to welcome Emmy Award Winning Songwriter Scott Krippayne to this week's episode of the Music for the Soul Podcast. Scott shares stories from over 30 years of writing and performing music around the world with over 500 songs recorded. He talks about the differences between CCM music and focusing more on solo work, and how both created a significant positive impact in his life.
Finally, he talks about different tricks and tips to grounding himself in the songs he was performing at dozens of concerts, allowing him to feel the full emotion of the song each time he sang it. He also discusses how to deal with things like depersonalization and the importance of centering yourself.
