When Dave Michaels vanishes inside KSCO's experimental Holodeck while reliving his favorite arcade games from the 1980s, Detective Billy Armi enters a digital world of wireframe tanks, glowing motorcycles, ghosts, and a sinister Master Control Program. To rescue Dave, Billy must rely on the only weapon powerful enough to defeat a supercomputer: his completely irrational theories about numbers.
