Kerry Samuels life changed on a short trip to Israel. After becoming and Orthodox Jew a bigger life change was still waiting to happen.

 

Rabbi Kalman Samuels and his wife, Malki, started Shalva, a life-changing center for people with disabilities in Jerusalem. His inspiration came after his son Yossi became blind and deaf at just 11 months old. 

 

Determined to help Yossi and others like him, Rabbi Samuels created Shalva to empower individuals with disabilities and promote inclusion in society.

 

Through his unwavering dedication and commitment to social justice, he has transformed countless lives around the world. Rabbi Samuels and Malki's remarkable story is a true testament to the power of compassion and the incredible impact that one person can make in the world.
