What do we do when a friend is grieving, a family member is angry, or a coworker is anxious? Although these emotional experiences are common, many of us don’t feel like we are adequately equipped to know what to say or do to be helpful in these situations. In this worship series, “How can I help” we learn what it means to truly support our loved ones and ourselves in times of emotional stress and turmoil.
In today's sermon, we explore the importance of reaching out to those in need. Drawing from the teachings of compassion in 1 John, we learned that as believers, our faith calls us to be active in serving others. The message emphasizes that caring for those less fortunate is not just a good deed, but a fundamental aspect of living out our faith. We are encouraged to consider practical ways to extend love and support to our neighbors, reminding us that every act of kindness reflects God's love in action.
