The letter to the Ephesians contains a simple teaching; the story of Christ should transform every aspect of our life. Within this ancient, multi-cultural church, the Good News of God’s salvation took root and created a unified and diverse community of faith. God calls us into unity, not uniformity, and we will explore this in our new series, “One” and learn how the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus empowers us to live faithful lives.

In this sermon, Pastor Clayton helps us understand that our preferences shouldn’t overshadow or derail our purpose in working with our neighbor. The church’s strength lies in its diverse community, emphasizing that God calls us to unity, not uniformity. The message of grace in Ephesians reminds us that our identities and actions are rooted in God’s unmerited love, not our achievements. And that understanding grace leads to a desire to perform good works, reflecting our gratitude for God’s love and transforming our lives into vessels of service.
