We kick off our sermon mini-series, “Encountering Jesus” with a beautiful message from Shandon Klein describing what happens when we spend time with Jesus. When we pause with Jesus, we make space to receive the love Jesus has for us. In turn, we can make space for others to also experience the love and grace Jesus holds for us and feel safe enough to exist as their authentic selves. As Christians, it is our responsibility to remember who we are and who God created us to be. We are called to use the gifts God has given us to be salt and light to those around us so they might see the vision that God has for them.
