There’s so many times in life when we find ourselves in situations where we feel alone and broken and can’t imagine that anyone else in the world feels the same way or could possibly understand our pain and suffering. We might feel that other people have everything together in their lives and are happy and we can’t figure out how to do the same. Pastor Clayton reminds us in the second sermon of our “Celebration” series, that we are not alone and instead have a constant companion in our times of need and in our times of celebration. When we feel alone, abandoned, scared and unsure, God is with us. God is holding us, guiding us, and next to us in every troubled moment. When we are at our lowest, God carries us. God’s steadfast love for us endures forever and this is worth pausing to celebrate!
