Have you ever felt out of place or out of sync in your life? Pastors Josh and Allison remind us in the next sermon of our "Lead with Love" series, that we live as "resident aliens" as Christians in this world obsessed with power and fear while we are a people of love. Valuing love instead of fear and power can often leave us feeling like we don't belong and like we aren't in sync with the values of this world. The fourth chapter of 1 John describes who God is and it's a very simple explanation that feels just as relevant, if not more relevant than the time in which it was written. In a world ripe with hatred, division and fear, God remains the same. God is love.
