On this week’s episode, Marco Pimentel sat down with Felix Böck, Founder & CEO of ChopValue, a certified B Corp. based in Vancouver, Canada that creates high performance circular economy designs made entirely with recycled bamboo chopsticks. Hailing from South Germany, Felix came to Canada to complete a PhD at the University of British Columbia in Innovation on Composite Materials with bamboo as the main natural fibre resource. With ChopValue microfactories now operating globally, and with partners like Vancouver Airport and Cadillac Fairview, fifty million chopsticks have been recycled and transformed and diverted from the landfill.
