Lindsey is a mom of 2 girls and the program director of the Backcountry Wilderness nonprofit for our Community Association. She is passionate about protecting our wildlife in Colorado. She was in a hurry to be a mom and had baby number one at the age of 26 right after her husband graduated from PT school. She is a Colorado native who returned in her adult years because she LOVED the mountains and Colorado as a whole. Her biggest challenge as a mom has been doing parenthood the way that SHE wanted and not necessarily how others thought she should. She feels her husband was one of her best supporters and her parents were available and amazing people who showed up when she needed it but gave the space when she needed it. She wishes she would have trusted her mama gut when it came to knowing what was going on with her daughter, who has dyslexia. She learned from that experience and now is her girls’ biggest champion.
