I loved talking to Michelle. Her ability to show up completely, full of emotion and honesty, is refreshing. One thing that particularly struck me about her story is her upbringing. Michelle grew up in a family that, on the outside, was comfortable. The reality, though, was that it was all a facade. It’s interesting how many people grow up in a similar circumstance. What’s most impressive about her story is her resilience. After being told that her parents couldn’t afford her college education, she forged a path for herself: Now, she helps others build wealth and a legacy for themselves.
