Effie Mantzouranis is a fantastic guest on SEX. Effie is a dancer trained in somatics, who wants to push the status quo. She dives into how fusing somatic theory and movement to sensually empower and liberate femme bodies. Effie centers support for the sexually abused and the underrepresented who desire to dismantle limiting beliefs they carry about their bodies, sexuality, and pleasure so that each person may redefine safety on their own terms; and move towards self-acceptance, intimacy, and radical sexual sovereignty. Effie strongly believes that dance is a form of like medicine in that it has the power to heal us from the inside out.
