Training in martial arts like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Judo, wrestling, & Muay Thai is my outlet for improving my mental health and becoming a better person.

On this fifty-fourth episode of the podcast, I talk to pro MMA fighter Marco Hutch - AKA the Afro Samurai.
On this episode, Marco shares how martial arts helped him through some of the hardest times that any human can face. We talk about the power of martial arts to save lives and prevent suicide.
Marco talks about what happened after losing many of the people in his life and why training six hours a day in the gym helped him to process his grief. Instead of taking his own life, he dove into the martial arts lifestyle.
Marco talks about bouncing back from trauma and loss and why its
important to control what you can and keep yourself on the path of
peace. We also dive into why Marco views martial arts as a
spiritual practice, why movement is medicine, and why struggle
creates strength in life.
