Follow Jason on Locals! _____ Our society is breaking down for want of strong men. You may have heard this quote: "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times." This cycle repeats itself over and over again throughout history. And we’re now smack dab in the middle of the "hard times." We’ve had it pretty good for a few decades. And it’s made us soft. So now we’re paying the price of our decadence. For generations now, there’s been a concerted effort to suppress the development and expression of healthy masculinity. It’s occurred in large part because people are afraid of violence, and they correlate strong men with violence. However, as we’re seeing today, it is the absence of strong men that violence arises. The active presence of strong men is a deterrent to violence. Until our men are ready to step up and take back their responsibility, we’ll continue to experience more and worse violence.
