10:18-10:59 Jennifer on her early Motivators why she got into nutrition

17:13-18:05 Food Habits

  • Teaching people how to have this skill
  • Prevention before

"For me there's a place for hospitals, there's absolutely a place for sick care, we need people to take care of  sick people in that very little acute place. But I was like "I DON'T WANT TO COMPLAIN, I WANNA BE PART OF THE SOLUTION '' and being part of the solution means teaching people how to have those skills, how to have a happy relationship with food. EVERYONE KNOWS what they need, it's not a knowledge problem, it's a system, environment, support problem. So if I could be at least a tiny part of teaching people : GOOD LIFE LONG HABITS, BUILDING SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENTS, THE RIGHT MINDSET , RESILIENCY, PROBLEM SOLVING , NOT USING FOOD TO SELF SOOTHE and for comfort , maybe I can stop another kid on thanksgiving not driving to the hospital to say goodbye to their dad. It worked out for my family but it almost didn't." -Jennifer Broxterman

58:31-58:36 Jennifer’s thoughts on a schedule

1:04:08-1:04:35 She talks about what's great of having a 2 brain business

"What's really good about a 2 brain business is that they're very data and dashboard oriented. So when they started to look at their gyms that were weathering the pandemic a little bit better, most of those gyms had a nutrition component and so they were "like well, we know you have a gym with  a nutrition component that's doing very well, would you be willing to teach us your system? We would love to pay for that, we would love to do a revenue share. You build the system, we'll share it to our audience". -Jennifer Broxterman

1:14:53-1:15:12

"Know yourself well, if you pile drive yourself like I piledriver myself, the best gift I ever gave myself was knowing my own rhythm of "WORKING HARD, NEEDING TIME TO RECOVER". Like you said, the rhythm is systematized. I DON'T SET GOALS, I SET SYSTEMS." -Jennifer Broxterman
