Thrive: Mental Health and the Art of Living Free

Jul 16, 2021

This month we are taking a deep dive into what happens when you make mistakes.

We’ve all been there. We somehow do things we never intended to do. When we make a mistake, we have the opportunity to learn and grow or walk in guilt and shame. As we explore this critical topic, I hope that you'll find rest from guilt and shame, hope instead of weariness, and growth instead of stuckness.

Because of the content, these are not conversations for little ears. Be sure to pop in some earbuds and pull out a notepad because the episodes this month are full of hope, inspiration, and practical tips for life change.

Last week, I walked you through some tangible tactics to help you after you’ve made a mistake. If you didn’t get a chance to listen, go back after today’s episode.

Today we are talking with Damesha Wells.

Demesha is a South Bend, Indiana native and she recently graduated with her Master's in Public Administration.

Beyond the world of public administration and education, Damesha is growing to be a pioneer in the community through her organization, Girl Talk Lifestyle Ministry. Founded in early 2018 with a mission to “empower women in Christ through vulnerability, transparency, and authenticity,” Girl Talk is a ministry specializing in the edification of women through Christ. Damesha works alongside her Girl Talk sisters to cultivate a space where they can flourish spiritually while achieving their God-given dreams and aspirations.
