We have a heartfelt talk with Pam Bartlett, the owner of Senior Helpers of the Lehigh Valley (http://www.seniorhelpers.com/lehighvalley/) about her personal journey with caring for two extended family members with alzheimer’s disease. Pam actually started Senior Helpers because of the powerful impact of this experience. Carolyn Hoffman, Community Relations Coordinator at Senior Helpers shares her pain as she now cares for her own mother who is battling cancer. Carolyn says she is learning to take the advice she gives to others and take care of herself.
