In this episode of the NHA podcast, our host, Dr. Frank Sabatino is joined by the NHA Executive Director, Wanda Huberman and the NHA Virtual Team, Kathleen Gage and VLynn Hawkins talking about the National Health Association (NHA), the world's oldest plant-based organization and the upcoming 75th-anniversary celebration and conference, set to take place in Cleveland from June 22nd - 25th.
This event will offer a mixture of science-based education, enjoyable activities, and delectable whole food, plant-based meals. Esteemed speakers, including Dr. Sabatino, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. Alan Goldhammer and other plant-based lifestylists and influencers, will provide valuable insights and interact directly with participants.
The conference is a hybrid with the sold-out in-person and for the third consecutive year, a virtual opportunity, widening its reach to a global audience.
Kathleen and VLynn are working hard to create an immersive virtual experience complete with live streaming, Q&A sessions, and even a virtual meal experience. To top it off, those who invest a nominal fee for the virtual event can replay the sessions for up to a year.
Wanda shares that the NHA has also announced its exciting new venture into organizing plant-based adventure trips. This initiative was born from a partnership with an NHA life member, Lisa McCarl, who is also a travel agent. As part of this initiative, the NHA is collaborating with Windstar Cruises, who are committed to offering plant-based meals and implementing environmentally friendly practices.
The conversation also touches on the importance of maintaining an eco-friendly lifestyle.
This episode provides a comprehensive overview of the upcoming NHA conference and the organization's mission to promote a plant-based lifestyle.
