Christine McMaster-Shah is an absolute expert in the sport of artistic swimming (formerly known as synchronized swimming). In addition to winning a National Championship herself with the Arizona Aqua Stars, she has been a coach since 2004, is a nationally rated judge in the sport and currently serves as the Officials Chair for the Arizona Artistic Swimming Association. Christine also helped found the Arizona Desert Dolphins back in 2006 where she works with athletes from the novice level all the way up to elite National Team members.

from how the athletes lift each other without ever touching the
bottom of the pool, the scholarships available to artistic
swimmers, careers with Cirque du Soleil, the unique challenges of
the sport, and what the future may hold.
