Ohio State football has their first spring scrimmage tomorrow as we'll get an early look at the 2025 Buckeyes on their journey to repeat as college football national champions. Ryan Day lost both coordinators during the offseason and all eyes will certainly be on Matt Patricia and Brian Hartline to see how they handle their first duties at their new roles. Hartline in particular will be a focal point to watch this spring. He called plays in 2023 and it did not go as well as expected. Did a year under Chip Kelly fix those play calling issues? Was Kyle McCord to blame? It's important for Hartline to see a big improvement this spring for this group to look the part in 2025.
