Morris is nostalgia.
The idea of a haunted theatre is not new, but in Ocala the ghost is a local celebrity talked about for generations and then silenced as his building came down. The Ocala Civic Theatre was a staple of the community for decades, and when people talked of the building, they talked of Morris the Magician and the fact is ghost was just part of the show. Tripping on Legends looks at one of the lesser known legends in the shadows of the Ocala National Forest which is well known if you know the right people to ask.
