Pinetop - Lakeside Talk of the Town

Jul 20, 2023

National Night Out is August 1st from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Mountain Meadow Recreational Complex

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie in the United States. The event takes place on the first Tuesday of August each year and is organized by local law enforcement agencies, neighborhood associations, and community groups.

The primary goal of National Night Out is to enhance the relationship between communities and their local law enforcement, as well as to foster a sense of unity among neighbors. The event encourages people to get out of their homes, meet their neighbors, and participate in activities that promote safety, crime prevention, and community engagement.

National Night Out has been celebrated since 1984 and has grown significantly over the years, with millions of people participating in thousands of communities across the United States. It serves as an opportunity for residents to connect with local law enforcement, discuss community concerns, and collaborate on initiatives that make their neighborhoods safer and more secure.
