Unraveling Adoption

Dec 18, 2021

In this Safe Home episode, Beth discusses the tough topic of bullying with a long-time friend of hers, Maria Lundstroem Lopez, who was regularly beaten and treated horribly in elementary school. Beth's son Joey was also bullied with racist microaggressions throughout his whole school journey. Maria talks about how these wounds from being bullied have stuck with her until adulthood and gives some ideas for how to deal with bullying in today’s schools and families.
