How much do you understand about dyslexia and slow processing?

Slow processing is one of those dyslexia challenges which is possibly the worst for impacting confidence.

I get it all the time! Some of the simplest questions takes me ages to answer and while I am trying figure out the answer, the overwhelming feeling of embarrassment overtakes everything and you're left feeling rubbish.

You also be made to feel even worse when other judge you.

However, I also get those times when I can answer instantly some of the most complex questions and explain it ways that everyone can understand using narrative reasoning. This leaves others perplexed at how you managed to find the answer so quickly. And sometimes, people won't believe you because the other 9 out of 10 times you've not so quick to answer.

Frustrating isn't it!?

So... let's break it down so we can understand it better and build confidence.

In this episode I share clips from a recent master class I presented all on slow processing, how it affects our confidence but also how it can help build confidence!

 Key topics:

  • What is slow processing,
  • Why slow processing affects confidence, and
  • How to use this to build confidence!

Keywords: dyslexia, dyslexic, mindset, self-limiting beliefs, personal growth, reframing, success, can-do attitude, dyslexia coaching, overcoming challenges
