Episode 34 - Dyslexia, Change your Mindset
Some times all we want is a new system, hack, or tip that will change how we cope with the challenges of dyslexia. I say, whilst they are all good things, FIRST, we need to change our mindset about how we view our dyslexia challenges.
In this episode I share with you why focusing on our midset around dyslexia first is most imporant when we consider setting up systems and 'hacks' that create those ever lasting changes in how we tackle the challenges with dyslexia.
Without the right midset, all the systems and hacks in the world will only last so long. for sustained and impactful change that really works, you have to address the mindset.
This topic is something that I battelled with when I started 'Dyslexia in Adults' and part of teh reason why I started it. Now I can share some advice and experience based on my lived experience but also from some of the converstaions I have with my 1:1 clients in coaching sessions.
