Explore the inspiring journey of Narges Mohamadi, winner of the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize. She is now jailed for her activism in women's rights in Iran, where not wearing the hijab meant instant bullying by the police,  and sentenced to 10 days to 2 months in prison or 74 lashes.  She was an engineer and journalist in Tehran, involved with the Defenders of Human Rights Center in Tehran, an organization founded by the 2011 Nobel Laureate for Peace, Shirin Ebadi.  She has been jailed twice and she is currently in prison.
