El FBI ha creado un grupo de trabajo para arrestar a quienes ataquen propiedades de Tesla. Elon Musk, el hombre más rico del mundo y propietario de la compañía Tesla, se ha convertido en el asesor más cercano del presidente Trump y ha recibido amplios poderes gubernamentales. Debido a las impopulares políticas de la administración Trump, Tesla ha perdido miles de millones de dólares en valor. Elon Musk, the richest man in the world and owner of the Tesla company, has become President Trump’s closest advisor and has been given sweeping government powers. Due to the Trump administration’s unpopular policies, Tesla has lost billions of dollars of value. In places all over the US and Canada, people have been boycotting, protesting or attacking Tesla properties, including setting dozens of cars on fire, and the response from the Trump administration has been confusing. Attorney General Pam Bondi said she’d opened an investigation in order to, in her words, “see how is this being funded, who is behind this,” implying that funding is required in order to have a protest or for an individual to vandalize to a car. President Trump said that boycotting what he referred to as “Elon’s Baby” is illegal. Although it is not illegal to boycott Tesla, this could soon become a reality, since the precedent has been set by laws that criminalize boycotts of Israeli products.
