Dean Group, una empresa con sede en Manchester, Inglaterra, ha comunicado a activistas que dejará de colaborar con la empresa de armas israelí Elbit Systems. Dean Group, a company based in Manchester, England, has told activists that it will no longer work with the Israeli weapons firm Elbit Systems. The activist group Palestine Action disrupts the supply chain for Israel’s military by attacking factories and other businesses, with the aim to stop the Israeli genocide of Palestinians. Since 2024, when it was discovered that Dean Group had a business relationship with Elbit, Palestine Action have been breaking into its buildings and damaging machinery. Last week, Palestine Action announced that Dean Group had told them they are now officially refusing any work with Elbit Systems, and will never work with the company in the future. Dean Group is the sixth company that has been forced to stop working with Elbit due to Palestine Action. Last week at the University of Chicago, students hijacked the video projector at a panel discussion with representatives of the weapons company Boeing, and showed footage of Gazan children being bombed. The administration could not turn off the projections and had to cancel the panel discussion.
