Israel ha iniciado una campaña masiva de bombardeos en Líbano, matando a más de 700 personas en apenas unos días. Desde su creación en 1948, Israel ha intentado colonizar tierras en el sur del Líbano, lo que logró hacer desde 1982 hasta 2000. Israel has begun a massive bombing campaign in Lebanon, killing over 700 people in just a few days. Since its creation in 1948, Israel has attempted to colonize land in southern Lebanon, which it succeeded in doing from 1982 until 2000. Since the October 7th attacks against Israel, there has been an increase in fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, the Lebanese anti-Israeli organization. Last week, Israel further provoked Lebanon by exploding thousands of secretly modified pagers, causing thousands of injuries and the deaths of several children. Hezbollah used the pagers due to concerns about Israeli surveillance. In other news, Thursday marked the 10th anniversary of the kidnapping and disappearance of 43 teacher students from the Ayotzinapa Normal Rural College in Mexico. Tomás Zerón, a former Mexican official, was responsible for incorporating Israel’s Pegasus spying software into the Mexican government for purposes of spying on activists. He is still currently in Israel eluding Mexican extradition due to charges of torture and corruption in relation to the investigation of the 43 students.
