When people talk about what it takes to succeed, a lot of things come up. Motivation, drive, persistence and skill are all important, but one thing that’s highly underestimated and underutilized is humor.

We might not think making someone laugh can be a gamechanger in business. The truth is, people are more likely to trust us, buy what we sell and listen to what we have to say through humor.

It might not be something we’re taught, but anyone can learn how to be funny and add some lightheartedness to our communication and even our training.

What can the most talented actors and comedians teach us about scripts? Why is grit so critical to our success?

In this episode, I’m joined by author, speaker, thought-leader, coach and trainer, Les McGehee. He shares why humor and comedy are the things that propelled him to success. He also talks about how we can infuse what we do with some humor and levity.

The Realtors and comedians we admire have learned so many scripts and structures that they just flow through them. -Les McGehee

further than just memorizing words?
