I just returned from Italy and brought home so many memories and a beautiful reminder to enjoy each moment. We had such a wonderful time together. I signed my husband and I up for a nine-hour biking adventure and cooking class. Our adventures were not only full of laughter and mishaps but also the time to build deep connections with others.

It was quite an adventure riding the bike. It was a beautiful ride, but definitely challenging. The tougher parts were easier when I used some breathing techniques. After just an hour and a half, my butt was sore! Oh my goodness, the bugs. I got one fly in my eye and another in my mouth. Definitely not fun. I accidentally collided with our guide at the bottom of the trail. Just one of the mishaps we had on this ride, including wearing my helmet backwards for the first two hours of our ride. Talk about embarrassing.

Even with all those mishaps, I was able to just laugh them off and live in the moment. Normally, I worry about things like work and my house, but I was able to just let go and enjoy the ride. I think intentional living is something we could all benefit from. It's easy to get caught up in the past or the future. Our lives can be transformed when we're present and live fully in the moment.

I'll never forget the deep and meaningful conversation we had that night. You never know what kind of connections you'll make when you're open and present. Hope you liked those little snippets from my adventures. Be mindful and live in the moment as much as you can - you never know what kind of magic might happen.
