My guest in this episode is Cie Hoover, an artist and musician from Ouray, Colorado. Cie was recently selected as one of three artists whose work is currently exhibited at the Durango-La Plata County Airport. His work is also represented in galleries in Telluride, Colorado and the Piper J Gallery in Trukee, California. Cie’s public art can be seen throughout Colorado and has been exhibited at the Blue Rain Gallery here in Durango. In addition to all of this Cie works in partnership with Wagner Skis in Telluride, creating custom designs on skis. He received a BBA in music business from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee and for 6 1/2 years toured throughout the US with his wife Karis as a folk rock duo called “You Knew Me When”. More recently Cie has been spending his time renovating a space on Main Street in Ouray to create his own gallery with the grand opening happening on Friday January 16, 2026.
