Join me for a conversation with Music Director and Conductor of the San Juan Symphony Orchestra Thomas Heuser, as well as Executive Director Chandra Stubbs to learn about all the exciting things that are happening! The Symphony brings proffesional orchestra music to Durango, Colorado and Farmington, New Mexico with musicians from the Four Corners region and beyond. These performances highlight the work of the best composers of classical music from the last few centuries as well as the modern era. There are side by side concerts with the Youth Orchestra, large performances with the Choral Societies of Durango and Farmington, solo performances by guest musicians as well as Movie Music for families.
