Four Corners Arts Forum

Dec 15, 2025

In this episode I am honored to have long time Durango local Victor Locke as my guest. Victor is a professional voice over artist who has also won many awards as news anchor and reporter including from the Associated press, United Press International, the Colorado Broadcasters Association and Radio Television News Directors Association. Many folks in the area will recognize his voice from the five years he spent as News Director, Reporter and Producer for our local KSUT, Four Corners Public Radio in Ignacio, Colorado. He has been the Broadcast Specialist for production and programming for the Durango City TV Channel and continues as the on air snow reporter for Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort as well as voice over professional. He began his career in the Midwest in TV and radio news. More recently however, he has been donating his time locally to the Adaptive Sports Association, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the San Juan Mountains Association, Manna Soup Kitchen and so many other non-profits in the area. We also speak about Victor’s Choctaw heritage and how he came to Durango. This year he has become a seasonal employee a the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad as one of the many Santa’s helpers entertaining the guests on the annual Polar Express ride. With Christmas soon upon us , this seemed like a good time to bring a Santa onto the program!
