Revisiting the subject of "isolationism" in our current national situation. Few really understand the concept and that our national policy is more isolationist than I will ever be. It is currently being masked by the "Great Man" concept.

Austin Metcalf lost his life at a track meet; people want to make it an issue of race. Maybe it is, but I would use a different racialization. What is interesting is the side that people take and why.
This brings me to the Pizza incident as discussed by Ansari six years ago.

Any decision we make has a price tag or a cost. Who pays is important to consider. It is often an aspect which is ignored sometimes deliberately.

People who believe in government often get upset when I say that it should be cut drastically. Epstein makes my case easier to make.
