It's Jesus Day again.
As we get closer to Christmas it might be good to remember NOT to seek God in vain. What does that mean? What are the ways that people do this? How should we seek and find God instead?

Citing Romans 13 as a reason for following ALL of the laws of the gov't is annoying. One just has to recall the worst gov'ts of history to know that this can't be a good guiding principle.  And besides, if we are busy trying to obey gov't laws and regulations, aren't we just obeying humanity, not God?

So, the Democrats won big in the elections last week; isn't that the pattern these days? One side wins big, but it does not solve or resolve anything, in fact things get worse. Perhaps it is a problem with how we understand the concept of "conquer".
