Palm Sunday. We all know that many people sang Jesus' praises at the beginning of the week but then were nowhere to be found at the end of the week. Why is that; what was the substance of their praise? How do we avoid the same mistake?

For Jesus Day we are looking at 2Peter chapter 1. Though people would prefer to forget the sins of the past, we are called to remember them. This is the way to avoid living as the spiritually blind and instead discover what is moral.
And man-o-man, we need this ever more in this climate of war.

It is unavoidable that the events of the week influence what I say
on Sunday. Since I also serve as a kind of source of information
for the members of my congregation, I have to talk a bit of
politics. Admittedly, I do my best to go against the now repealed

Sunday means Jesus Day.
What a week and it certainly is a challenge for people who are
trying to live by faith. Yes, I talk about the War with Iran, Yes,
I probably upset people at my church and will here as well. But
c'mon, where is the Peace?
What is peace? And how do we get some?
