Cocktails With Friends

Aug 18, 2023

In this episode of Cocktails With Friends, our host, Bob Cutler sits down with his good friend & Caroline Bicks. Caroline is a Professor of Literature at The University of Maine, author of a cocktail book called Shakespeare, Not Stirred and host of The Everyday Shakespeare Podcast. The conversational sipper for this show, Richard's Gimme-let, is a drink based on Richard from Henry VI, Part 3. The cocktail features Ford's gin, Basil simple syrup, fresh lime juice and enough hot pepper to remind you that King Richard is quickly killing off anyone who could contest is rise to power. We hope you enjoy Caroline's quick wit and passion for Billy, Willie, Little Bill - probably sticking with William Shakespeare for now. Cheers
