Try recording yourself saying the following with RP rhythm and intonation:

1️⃣ “What time does the meeting start?”

2️⃣ “Could you possibly send that again?”

3️⃣ “You’ve met him before, haven’t you↗️?”

4️⃣ “Why is the train always late?”

Try reading these aloud slowly, keeping your vowels clean and your consonants neat:

  1. The stressed chef found comfort in desserts.
  2. The teacher’s reward was hidden in the bottom drawer.
  3. The toddler repaid me by removing his own diaper. Horrifying.
  4. The reviled politician tried to deliver a speech anyway.
  5. Anyone who can live without biscuits may truly be evil.
