Kelly M. Jenrette and Damona Hoffman visit Friends and talk about dating apps, making a list for the right person, wedding promises and the importance of inclusivity in acting with host Marina Franklin.

Kelly M. Jenrette, a native of Atlanta, now resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Melvin Jackson Jr.  In 2018, she and her husband became the first African American married couple to be nominated for Emmy’s in the same year.  Kelly’s Emmy nomination was for her portrayal of Annie in Season 2, Episode 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale.  Her two latest films can be found on Netflix: Uncorked and All Day and A Night, where she stars alongside Jeffrey Wright and Ashton Sanders.  Kelly is also in the second season of the hit anthology show Manhunt: Deadly Games (Lionsgate/Spectrum).  She can currently be seen as Winona on the Facebook Watch Original LIMETOWN.  Kelly has also been a series regular on the Fox comedy, Grandfathered, starring John Stamos; She's had recurring guest star roles on Here and Now (HBO), Pitch (FOX) and Graves (EPIX).  You may also remember her from her twelve Kmart commercials as Kmart Kelly!  Kelly was a part of the 13 time Ovation Nominated Musical, The Color Purple at Celebration Theatre, where her portrayal of Nettie earned her an individual Ovation Nomination for best featured actress.  Other TV credits include: Mixed•ish (ABC), Fuller House (Netflix), Weird Loners (FOX), The Haunted Hathaways (Nickelodeon), Happy Endings (ABC), Frisky Dingo, VO (Cartoon Network) WEB SERIES: Mommy Uncensored Episode 2 (YouTube), Much Ado About Mr. GQ (YouTube/FunnyorDie) and Study Buddy (YouTube). Damona Hoffman has been coaching singles on how to find love online and offline for over 15 years. Her articles appear regularly in The LA Times and The Washington Post. Plus, she’s a regular on-air contributor to The Drew Barrymore Show, NPR, and NBC’s Access Daily. Damona also starred in two A+E Networks’ TV shows: #BlackLove and A Question of Love. Her weekly podcast Dates & Mates has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Huff Post, Bustle and tops the charts in the Relationships category on the major podcast platforms. She is also the official dating coach for OkCupid.
