The Beattie Mansion in St. Joseph, Missouri has stood for more than 170 years. This began as a home for the Beatties and later became a home for unwed women and orphans and then an assisted living facility that occasionally served the addicted and people with mental health issues. The current owner wanted to open a boutique hotel, but he had trouble keeping help. Something was scaring them all off. Once he started having his own unexplained experiences, he knew he needed to open up the house to investigators. There has been no shortage of activity for these investigators. Join us for the history and hauntings of the Beattie Mansion! The Moment in Oddity features odd orchids and This Month in History features the Battle of Hamburger Hill. Location suggested by Sarah Crom.
