It's not surprising that Kingston is considered one of Canada's more haunted cities because it is known as the "Limestone City." Limestone has a way of absorbing energy, good and bad. What started as a French trading post has grown into one of the largest cities in Ontario. There are many haunted locations here from asylums for the criminally insane to jails to cemeteries.
