Antony Sammeroff, who among many other things does outstanding work as a therapist, discusses the psychological factors that may account for why some of us embrace the hard truths of libertarianism and others don't. We begin with a discussion of Harry Browne's work on finding freedom in an unfree world, and noting that in the case of many libertarians (and indeed human beings), the major problems they face tend to be internal rather than external (i.e., caused by institutions like the state).
