Dan Norris is a serial entrepreneur, 4X best-selling author and international speaker.
In 2013 he was 2 weeks away from unemployment after 8 straight years of business failure. In the next week, without any funding, he launched a WordPress support service called WP Curve, providing ongoing small fixes for a monthly fee.
Within 2 years, it was a $1m business with over 40 developers in 7 countries and thousands of clients. He sold the business to GoDaddy in 2016.
Instead of messing around trying to validate ideas or debating things with his entrepreneurial friends during this process, he just launched. Then he made decisions based on real information from real customers to build the business. He now helps other entrepreneurs do the same thing via his books and private mastermind.

Carly is a writer, speaker and appearance activist. She challenges people's thinking about what it's like to have a visibly different appearance. Carly has written for many publications including The Guardian, Daily Life, The ABC, Mamamia, Frankie magazine and SBS. She has used her blog to write about her skin condition, Ichthyosis, as well as to promote causes such as Love Your Sister and Donate Life. Carly received the 2010 and 2013 Yooralla Media Awards for Best Online Commentary for her body of disability focused writing (she declined 2014's award due to ethical reasons). She won the best personal blog category for Kidspot Voices of 2013, and the 2013 BUPA Health Activist award for Positive Life Change, and she was also a finalist in the Best Australian Blogs competition in 2011, 2012 and 2014. Carly was named as one of Australia's most influential women in the 2014 Australian Financial Review and Westpac 100 Women of Influence Awards. Most recently, Carly received a diversity award from the Australian Centre for Leadership for Women for organising Australia's first Ichthyosis meet.
